Bespoke Furniture

Wildwoods is a tree surgery and woodland management business which has been in existence for nearly twenty years. Part of the ethos of the business has always been sustainable practice, utilising wood either cut by ourselves or from other local, certified suppliers, to produce firewood and charcoal.

Now we have diversified further into producing bespoke items of furniture. Again, we are seeking to use local, native woods as much as possible, which we hope will in itself stimulate interest in our native woodlands and the many different tree and shrub species to be found here, as well as all the associated wildlife for which a habitat is provided. We hope you will find the furniture interesting and beautiful, and would welcome any feedback you may have. If there is a particular type of wood or style that you like, but it is the wrong item or size for your purpose, please let us know and we will endeavour to make what you want. Everything is handmade, so we can tailor any item, from beds to mirrors, to your requirements. If you would like advice, or something made from your own wood, again, we will try and help if we can.

We had a huge amount of positive feedback at the Oak Fair at Stock Gaylard, which was our first opportunity to display some of the furniture to a wider public, and will post details of any other shows we will be doing in the future.

We also intend running courses on various aspects of woodland management and ecology, as well as other environmentally based courses, from growing your own veg to providing a habitat for pollinating insects. If you are interested in any of these, please contact us.
